I’ve jumped out of a plane, sat on the tippity top of my roof (trust me I was terrified) and cliff jumped into water, but I have never been more excitingly terrified than for my recently shot Boudoir session. What is Boudoir? I’ve been asked. Well back in the dizzle it was a woman’s private bedroom area, among other uses, but mainly that.
Today, Boudoir Photography is becoming hugely popular for a number of things: Brides to be for their soon to be husbands, Anniversary gifts, V-day presents, weight loss or surgery recoveries and my favorite (but I’m biased) for soldiers over seas. There are even couple’s participating in Boudoir Photography.
Diane Parsons and Jess McBee, from Parsons Photography shot one of my friend’s bridal shower and wedding and I LOVED them! In celebration of the great day of love and my trip to the West Coast coming up on top of the boyfriend deploying this summer, there was no better time to do a Boudoir shoot. Diane has been booking an increasing amount of these, but I was still nervous and of course somewhat excited to get in her studio and get sexified for my man, and I guess for me too!
This is definitely an experience that every woman should get on their list and Diane and Jess made me feel more than comfortable and I had a blast!
